Two Design Helpful Hints

When making the three cards on the left, I discovered a couple of tips that I'd like to share. I'm a big advocate for figuring out how to find multiple uses for any one item.  You'll be delighted to see what the Decorative Label Punch can do for you! Read on to learn more...

The 'star' items in this post are, in my opinion, must have's for your stampin' stash!

Rich Razzleberry with Bevel Windowpane

I should be a tad bit more reserved when describing this card because it truly presents am elegant feel when you see it in person.  Yet, I really just want to say... COOL BEANS!

First, the Rich Razzleberry color is classy and 'rich'.  Second, the Finial Press Embossing folder presents that elegant feel that I mentioned.  Then there's the new Beveled Windowpanes and the Decorative Label Punch, the paper daisy and the Clearly for Your Stamps... oh how I could go on and on!

Here's the supply list for the card.  Note that each of the embellishments come with a sizable quantity so that you can duplicate this card over and over or make a change up as you'll see in my next post.

Scrapbooking at the March Stamp Shoppe

The March Stamp Shoppe is open for scrapbooking!  Make (3) full size 12x12 pages for only $20 or FREE with a $25 purchase.

All of the supplies and materials are provided for you, making it incredibly easy to make your pages.

This month features two equally wonderful themes, yet with a very different feel.  The first photo shown uses the Springtime Vintage collection.  Next month, you'll have the opportunity to make the facing page.  The second page shown utilizes the fun Sale-A-Bration designer series paper and accessories.

Here's a little design note for you regarding the Sale-A-Bration Pages from Aly Schilling (she designed the pages for us this month...
"Here's a sneak peek at the pages for March - you'll make a total of 3, 12x12 Layouts (3rd page not shown)!
The "Lucky" layout has been designed to be extremely versatile. While we didn't want to ignore St. Patrick's Day - we recognize that not everyone has photos from the day to scrapbook. So - the whole alphabet stamp set will be available to you - instead of stamping "Lucky" you can stamp any word! Additionally, the shamrocks can easily be changed to flowers - a flower punch will also be out for your use if you would prefer to use that. Just 2 simple changes and voila - you have an "every day" page that is simply cheerful, bright and fun!"

March Stamp Shoppe: Fri. March 11th.  6:30-9:30pm -or- Sat. March 12th. 10am-1pm.

KISS: In Color Butterflies!

Here's another KISS card!  My Keep It Simple, Sister design is simple and pretty.

I made this 4-1/4" x 4 1/4" square card to fit nicely into a medium size SU! envelope.  I decided to pull from the In Color Collection of colors and chose Pear Pizazz and Blushing Bride for the soft gentle hues.  I'm also digging the textures and designs on the butterflies AND they are incredibly easy to make thanks to my Big Shot.  I only had 8 things on my work table when I made this little ditty!

Supply List:
Card Stock: Pear Pizzazz (119795), Blushing Bride (119796)
Stamp Set: Your A Gem (wood: 122268, Clear 122270)
Ink: Early Espresso Classic Ink (119670)
Awesome Add-ons: Big Shot Machine (113439), Beautiful Wings Embosslits Die (118138), SNAIL (104332), Rhinestone Jewels (119246)

Here's the Beautiful Wings Die!
The textures make all the difference...
You could bend the wings up for a little added dimension if you'd lke...

Ribbon Flair!

I'm just crazy over this little 'ole card!  So feminine with a touch of 'look at me!' flair...
I was inspired by Erika Cerwin of Pink Buckaroo Designs and borrow her design. Her sassy spirit shines through her work and the way this little lady can use ribbon makes me envious!  Additionally, thanks to the Stampin' Up! Color Coach, I had absolutely no fear when it came to matching up these colors.  And... may I say that I may never had the confidence to partner Rich Razzleberry, Pumpkin Pie and Tempting Turquoise; nope, never in a million years.  Yet, I love the results and want to dance a jig!

I'm also so pleased to tell you that I used a small handful of items to create this beauty.  oh la la!
Here's the supply list...
  • Cards Stock: Rich Razzleberry (115316), Whisper White (100730), Pumpkin Pie (105117)
