Greeting Card Kids Goes Vintage

Here she comes again!  We'll be visiting with this little vintage lady at our November Stamp Shoppe on 11/12 & 11/13 but I wanted to show you another way in which she simply lights up the room. Did you know that using the color pink in holiday projects is really hot this season; especially when partnering Real Red with Blushing Bride (click here to see more about Blushing Bride)?  Grab the Greeting Card Kids set #120633, Crochet Trim Ribbon #118481, Newsprint Designer Series Paper* #117166 and you're well on your way to completing this sweet greeting.

Mini Lunch Sack Sweetness

The little Mini Lunch Sacks aren't your ordinary brown bags... These cuties have scalloped edges and endless possibilities!  Check out a couple of ideas to get your creative juices flowing... But first, it all starts right here with these cute unadorned Mini Lunch Sacks (#121031):

Idea #1
A little ribbon and a sweet button goes a very long way to making a simple yet sassy gift package. The small box was made using the Big Shot (#113439), the Match Box Die (#114890) and the Tags till Christmas Bundle 1 set.
Idea #2
I love this gift bag - just think of the countless things that could be nestled in this little hostess gift bag! There are a couple of key components that make this thank you treat so special.  Autumn Spice Designer Series Paper (the colors are rich & the textures are stunning!) #120808, Linen Thread #104199, Very Vanilla Seam Binding Ribbon #120999 and The Day of Gratitude Stamp Set (click here for other projects using this set) #120999.

Idea #3
This little ditty comes to life with the Holiday Gift Packaging Bundle #124084 available now though Dec. 19th. Add Deck the Hall Designer Series Paper #120810 and some Whisper White Satin Ribbon #114616 for the final touch.

BINGO goes the extra mile!

B-I-N-G-O! Last weekend, a group of 25 of my fellow stampin' chics got together for a weekend away.  Yup!  25 chics in a laid back cabin setting on Canandaigua Lake with hours and hours of creative opportunities and just plain 'ole fun. I loved it!  My colleague Jen made a set of holiday Bingo cards (very similar to the shown) and we had a ball using them!  Now, as much as I love the holiday theme featuring the Jolly Bingo Bits #120857, I have also created the Bingo cards using the Every Little Bit Set #120558 for an all occasion game.

Every Little Bit: Wood mount (117096). Clear mount (120558)
It's easy to bring these stamp sets to another level.  It would be a snap to use the Jolly Bingo Bits to create holiday gift tags. Grab the Decorative Label Punch #120907 and the Jolly Bingo Bits and viola, it's done!

And how about this... Simply ink up the Bingo Card Stamp with a marker (just don't ink up the top area with the BINGO letters) and stamp it on card stock. Choose your favorite Every Little Bit stamps or the Jolly Bingo Bits and go to town.  Add a small ditty of ribbon (I really dig the texture of the Blushing Bride Stiched Poly Ribbon 119267 & use it whenever I can!) and you're done!

Simply Adorned Jewelry Collection

One of the best features of the Simply Adorned Jewelry Collection is the versatility and ability to create jewelry that will appeal to anyone on your gift list.  The charms open to allow the flexibility of changing the
little interior pieces of 'artwork' for the seasons, specials occasions or to match an outfit.  If Aunt Suzy likes vintage adornments, then we work that angle for her.  If Sister Stella prefers simple clean lines then we make that happen for her.  Click here to see visit the different jewelry collection pieces and as a side note... you'll want to make sure you have Basic Rhinestone Jewels and Basic Pearls Jewels on hand.  The smallest sizes of each fit beautifully within each charm for the perfect finishing touch!

Check out those sweet pearls... Gotta love 'em!

November Stamp Shoppe Teaser!

Is this little vintage girl the sweetest or what?! And... for all of the simplicity that this little lady offers, this card is packed with subtle touches that add jazzy dazzle!  Is that even a word? ((wink!))

When making this card, you'll be able to play with the Big Shot machine & Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder, Crochet Ribbon, Vintage Brads (these are the nuts I tell ya, the absolute nuts!) and we'll be using the Aqua Painters to give the fur on this little lady's outfit the pizazz that it deserves.
Aqua Painters are used with a variety of mediums to blend & pull colors together.

Mark your calender today for the next Stamp Shoppe on Friday November 12th from 6:30 - 9:30pm or Saturday, November 13th from 10am to 1pm.  Please RSVP today for either day & reserve your stampin space. Hope to see you there!

Note:  The little lady above is from the Greeting Card Kids stamp set.  So versatile, the set offers good ole' vintage cuteness for everyday and/or special times of year.
