Getting to Know the NEW Stampin' Up! Firm Foam Ink Pads

WOW! I'm so pleased to report that I loved using the new Stampin' Up! Firm Foam Ink pads!  It took me only a few moments to take note of the difference between how I used to stamp and how I will stamp from now on.  A little bit of a lighter touch with the new foam pads is just the ticket!

You'll be delighted with the fantastic coverage of the new pads in your stamps, especially larger images (no more missing ink on the center of your image no matter how hard you tried to ink that baby up!)

I have discovered... That the new ink does take a moment or two to dry as opposed to the instant drying of before.  Once I got the hang of the 'timing' I was good to go and more than pleased with the results of the new pads.  The coverage is so much better and the images are much crisper.

Keep your old re-inkers and use them on your new firm foam ink pads. Except...

Please note: Five ink colors have undergone formula changes to improve functionality and color stability with the new firm foam pads. These colors are

• Basic Black
• Basic Gray
• Marina Mist
• Perfect Plum
• Tempting Turquoise

All five colors of the reformulated inks have been fully tested and approved. While using the new ink formula in the old Stampin’ Pads is fine, we do not recommend using the old ink formula for these five colors in the new firm foam pads.
